Meet Our Exhibitors
Brads Spelcafé
Step into Brads Village during the Festival of Trials and test your luck, skill, and cunning in quick DND challenges running all weekend - no experience needed!
-
As a weary traveller, you happen upon a village in the midst of a
festival. As you approach, you are greeted by a towering, grinning
barbarian:
“Welcome to Brads Village and our Festival of Trials!
If you prove yourself worthy to Brad the Dragon, you can gain advantage
and blessings in your next adventure. But to do so, you must use your
skill, cunning and a little luck at our mini trials!”
We will be running short DND trials (10 - 20 mins long) where you can
try your dice rolling skill and try to win blessings and favour from
Brad (aka prizes). These will be going on throughout the two days, so
just come by and give it a go!
No experience necessary. These trials are the perfect way to try DND for
the first time, or the 100th time. We will have everything needed at the
festival! You just need to come with the spirit of adventure!
For those brave and bolder souls seeking a grander challenge, we will
host two special events each day!
Boss Battle (Co-op)
Join forces with other adventurers to face a legendary foe. Victory
requires teamwork, tactics, and luck. Win or lose, you will fall or rise
together.
PvP Deathmatch (Competitive)
If cooperation’s not your thing, step into the ring. Outlast all others
and claim the ultimate blessing. Only one can walk away.
These events will run for 30 to 45 minutes and will require sign-up.
Full schedule and registration details are coming soon.
So come along to Brads’ Village and take role-playing to a new level at
our Festival of Trials. And don’t worry about that chest in the corner.
It’s definitely not a mimic. Probably.Website https://www.brads.se/

Brads Spelcafé is Malmö’s very first board game café, a cosy, welcoming
hangout spot with over 400 games, cold tap beers, hot, fresh coffee, and
the kind of nachos legends are made of.
Run by two women who are passionate about tabletop gaming and community
building, Brads is more than just a café! It’s a space for experienced
gamers, newbies who have never played a game before, and everyone in
between to come and spend time together, playing games and having a good
time.
We offer a small but mighty menu of small and big bites to keep your
energy up while discovering your new favourite board game. You are
welcome to come and grab a game off our shelves, or you can try one of
our regular events, which we run every month! From RPGs, quizzes, and
social tables, where we try out new games together, we are sure you will
find a seat that suits you!
So pull up a chair, shuffle the deck, and get ready to roll for good
times.
