Accessibility
We want Malmö Game Week to be a place where everyone feels welcome. Here you'll find everything you need to know about accessibility, companion admission, quiet spaces, and other measures we take to make MGW a safe and inclusive event.
-
MalmöMässan is fully accessible:
Elevators to all floors
Accessible restrooms available
All areas of the event are wheelchair accessible
Wide aisles and spacious layouts wherever possible
-
On the second floor, you’ll find our Quiet Room. This is a low-stimulus space with soft lighting and minimal noise. No screens, no events – just a peaceful place to breathe.
-
Next to the quiet room, we offer a separate space with low-key activities.
This room is especially designed for children and teens with neuropsychiatric conditions (such as autism or ADHD), but anyone who needs a calmer environment is welcome to join. -
MGW is documented through both photography and video. This means you may appear on camera while visiting. While we do our best to be mindful, we cannot guarantee that anyone will be fully excluded from images or footage.
-
If you're visiting Malmö Game Week as a companion to someone in need of support, you get in for free. This form is for companions so we can add you to our guest list.
Registration must be completed before the event starts.
A valid companion certificate is required and must be shown at the entrance. -
MGW is a vibrant and busy event, filled with blinking lights, loud sounds, visual effects, and large crowds. For some, this can be overwhelming – which is why we offer a few quiet and calm areas if you need a break.
-
Food at MGW is handled by Malmömässan’s own restaurant, located inside the venue. They aim to offer a range of options, including vegan and vegetarian dishes, as well as child-friendly meals and snacks.
We’ve encouraged them to provide choices that suit as many needs as possible — but we can’t guarantee that all dietary restrictionswill be covered.
Feel free to bring your own food if you have specific requirements or want to make sure you have what you need!

Service animals—such as guide dogs and assistance animals—are permitted.
