Press FAQ

How the application process works

Are you part of the media looking to cover MGW?
Apply for press accreditation!

Press accreditation is intended for professional media, such as journalists, photographers, and editorial teams working for newspapers, magazines, radio, TV, or established media platforms.

If you are a Content Creator, Streamer, or Influencer who wants to collaborate with us, please apply as Content Creator instead: → Apply here.

With an approved press accreditation, you will receive:

  • Access to Malmö Game Week during opening hours
  • Entry to our press conference on Saturday, 26 September at 09:30 (before public opening)
  • Opportunity to access selected backstage areas (when relevant and coordinated with our team)
  • Support with scheduling interviews and guided access when needed

If you already know, please include in your application:

  • Who you want to interview
  • What content you plan to produce
  • Which areas you want access to

This helps us prepare the right time slots and provide better support in advance.

Apply as early as possible

Last-minute applications may limit our ability to arrange interviews, backstage access, or guided support.

Press materials, logos, and selected media assets are available here: → Press Material Folder (TBA)
